Information:The original science standards document, Louisiana Science Framework was published in 1997 and contained the standards and benchmarks for Louisiana science content. In 2004, Grade-Level Expectations were added to the standards.
State Science Assessment Information
- Given at what grades: LEAP High Stakes test are given in grades 4 and 8. The Graduate Exit Exam is administered for Science and Social Studies in grade 11. Grade-level, exams based on grade-level expectations are administered for science in grades 3, 5, 6, and 7.
