Standards Resources: Curriculum and Instruction
- Information: The 2009 NC Essential Standards for Science were approved by the NC State Board of Education in February 2010. These new standards will be implemented in the 2012-2013 school year. The 2004 Standard Course of Study for Science will be the tested curriculum through the 2011-2012 school year.
2005-2006: Implementation Year for K-8 2004 curriculum; 9-12 still using 1999 curriculum
