Professional development is a medium used to increase the content and pedagogical content understanding of science teachers, produce transformative learning, and build professional learning communities. Research indicates that professional development must be a continuous process of improvement to be effective. So, how do we measure the efficacy of professional development? How do we minimize the variance in professional development delivery? What metrics are employed to evaluate professional development?
